What this opportunity involves:
As Account Lead for JLL's key client account across Australia and New Zealand, you will lead the delivery of exceptional facilities management services that enable our client's business success. You will drive operational excellence across managed properties, lead vendor partnerships, manage site budgets, and create workplace environments that enhance productivity and occupant satisfaction.
This role requires a strategic leader who can balance client relationship management with hands-on operational execution, demonstrating strong business acumen alongside practical facilities expertise.
You will be the primary operational lead ensuring safe, efficient, well-maintained environments while implementing continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable value to our client.
An Overview of the role:

Build and maintain strategic client relationships through proactive communication, regular business reviews, and consultative problem-solving that aligns facilities strategies with business objectives

Manage site operating budgets, financial processes, cost optimization, capital planning, and provide accurate forecasting with monthly financial reporting and variance analysis

Lead day-to-day facilities operations ensuring sites remain safe, clean, and functional while managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems through appropriate maintenance oversight

Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, holding partners accountable for performance standards, SLAs, and contractual obligations while driving continuous improvement

Manage SDSK ticket lifecycle (acknowledgment, updates, follow-up, closure) in accordance with KPIs/SLAs and support move processes including coordination with user departments and vendors

Provide event support by collaborating with workplace experience and security teams on facilities coordination, setup, guest flow, and registration according to policies and procedures

Lead health, safety, and compliance programs including regular audits, incident management, emergency preparedness, contractor inductions, and maintaining regulatory compliance documentation

Develop and performance-manage direct reports, fostering a service-oriented culture focused on customer satisfaction, professional development, and cross-functional collaboration

Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analytics, technology adoption, process optimization, and best practice implementation to enhance service delivery and sustainability

Maintain comprehensive administrative oversight including documentation, recordkeeping, office services, occupant onboarding, space management, signage coordination, and facilities communications

- 5+ years progressive experience in facilities management, property management, corporate services, or related operational leadership roles

Demonstrated success managing operating budgets and delivering financial performance

Proven track record leading vendor relationships and holding service providers accountable

Strong understanding of facilities operations including maintenance, cleaning, security, and workplace services

Experience managing health, safety, and compliance requirements in commercial environments

Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and workplace regulatory requirements

Demonstrated leadership capability including managing teams and driving performance

Strong client relationship management skills with ability to influence and build trust
