Our client is a well-established commercial builder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the education sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of new build and refurbishment projects throughout Sydney valued up to $15 million.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all site activities from commencement through to completion.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
- Driving construction programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
- Maintaining strong safety standards and site compliance.
- Managing quality assurance and defect minimisation.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Conducting site meetings and reporting project progress.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in occupied or live environments where required.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the Sydney construction market.
- Previous experience delivering education projects, including schools, colleges or institutional facilities.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects valued up to $15M.
- Strong knowledge of local building regulations, WHS requirements and construction methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients.
- Trade background or relevant construction qualifications preferred.
