We are Northrop Grumman Australia (NGA). Our 800 strong team is leveraging unparalleled global resources to deliver sovereign Defence capability aligned to the Government’s priorities across Aeronautics, Mission Critical Systems, Space and Guided Weapons. As we build our business and our capabilities, we are also developing a reputation as a great place to work. Help us define what is possible for our nation and for your career.
The Role:
Supporting the KC-30A fleet, you'll work on engineering challenges that directly impact aircraft capability, availability and sustainment, helping keep one of Australia's most important air mobility and air-to-air refuelling capabilities available and mission ready.
This role sits within a small engineering team responsible for avionics and electrical systems, working closely with maintainers, engineers and Defence stakeholders to investigate issues, assess technical information and support ongoing airworthiness and engineering change activities.
The work is varied and often requires balancing technical problem solving with stakeholder engagement and decision-making. You'll gain exposure across sustainment, configuration management, continuing airworthiness and fleet support activities while working alongside experienced engineers who are willing to share knowledge and help you develop.
This could suit an early-career engineer looking to build on a solid foundation around their passion for aviation, or someone with aviation experience who enjoys being close to operations and solving practical engineering problems.
Australian Citizenship, NV1 security clearance required, or the ability to obtain and maintain. Candidates with Baseline clearance are encouraged to apply.
