The Learning, Teaching and Middleware team empowers and supports users to deliver quality outcomes by providing transparent, timely, and efficient advice and appropriate system functionality within the curriculum management system (CMS) and learning management system (LMS) to meet business needs. The team is also responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of these systems, and provides high-level systems support to a range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the University.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of UniSQ’s curriculum management and learning management systems, helping ensure they are effective, reliable, and continuously improving. In the first 6-12 months, you will make a significant contribution and become a trusted advisor by:

Providing users of the University CMS with support and authoritative advice on a wide range of topics;

Contributing to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the CMS and components of the LMS as supported by the Learning, Teaching and Middleware team;

Undertaking business requirements gathering and assisting with the designing of testing strategies and related documentation; and

Analysing business processes, University policies and procedures as well as interpret legislative instruments and associated system requirements to develop documentation for the business and for the team.
To excel in this role, you’ll bring relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in IT, systems, or student administration as well as:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in business analysis and requirements gathering
- Experience developing, maintaining and executing test plans related to product release testing cycles and system enhancements

Experience developing comprehensive unambiguous system documentation

Experience and ability to interpret and apply University policies and procedures as well as legislative instruments.
