We're looking for a warm, organised and people-focused Admissions Officer to join our Residential team at Bene Aged Care. Together, we'll support prospective residents and their families through one of life's most significant transitions — ensuring every step of the admissions journey feels welcoming, professional and deeply person-centred.
About the Role
In this role, you'll work hand-in-hand with our clinical teams, operational staff, hospitals and community stakeholders to coordinate admissions from initial enquiry right through to move-in day. Together, we'll work toward shared occupancy goals while upholding the Aged Care Act 2024, the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and Bene's values.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, you will:

Assist in coordinating the admissions process for permanent and respite residents

Respond to accommodation enquiries in a timely, professional and compassionate manner

Welcome prospective residents and families by conducting personalised tours and sharing information about Bene's services

Assist with the preparation of Residential Care Agreements and admission documentation

Provide clear, helpful information regarding aged care fees, accommodation payments and admission requirements

Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support smooth resident admissions and transitions into care

Assist in maintaining admissions pipelines and waitlists to support occupancy objectives

Build and nurture positive relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, social workers and other community stakeholders

Maintain accurate admissions, occupancy and waitlist records

Assist in preparing admissions and occupancy reports

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the admissions experience for residents and families
About You

Previous experience in an Admissions, Customer Service or Aged Care role
