LillyPilly Early Education Centre is in Monash is looking for an exceptional Centre Chef.
Our kitchen team plays a vital role in creating a warm, safe and nourishing environment for every child and family.
About the Roles
As part of our kitchen team, you will:
- Prepare fresh, seasonal, child-friendly meals aligned with early childhood nutrition guidelines.
- Prepare fresh, seasonal “Grab & Go” breakfasts for families each morning.
- Prepare fresh, seasonal lunches for our team.
- Support children’s health and safety through allergy-aware cooking and careful management of dietary requirements, intolerances, and medical plans.
- Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, food handling, storage, and kitchen safety.
- Work closely with educators and families to ensure every child’s needs are respected and met with care.
- Contribute to our centre culture, where quality, connection, and community are at the heart of daily life.
Kitchen Garden & Food for Thought Program
Food at LillyPilly is also part of learning. You’ll be involved in our kitchen garden journey, helping bring fresh produce from garden to plate, and supporting our Food for Thought cooking program. Through simple cooking experiences, children explore healthy choices, build confidence and enjoy hands-on learning that’s meaningful and fun.
