Direct Care Assistance (DCA), a leading NDIS service provider, is currently seeking an experienced Dari-speaking Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred in-home support to an elderly participant located in Sandhurst, VIC.
This is an ongoing casual opportunity for a compassionate, reliable, and culturally responsive support worker who can communicate in Dari and assist the participant with domestic assistance and home help while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Regular Ongoing Shifts
- 3–4 weekday shifts per week
- Shift Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (2-hour shifts)
What are we looking for?
- Fluency in Dari is essential.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience working as a Disability Support Worker.
- Experience supporting participants within the NDIS framework.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Ability to assist with domestic tasks and light household duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing person-centred support.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes.
What You'll be doing? (Essential Duties)
- Providing in-home support tailored to the participant's individual needs.
- Assisting with domestic tasks, light household cleaning, and home help.
- Promoting the participant's independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Building a positive and respectful relationship with the participant while providing culturally appropriate support.
- Completing accurate progress notes and reporting any relevant observations in accordance with organisational procedures.
