We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Cake Decorator who enjoys baking and decorating cakes and is eager to continue developing their skills. If you take pride in your work, have a great eye for detail and enjoy working in a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
- Bake and decorate a variety of celebration cakes.
- Follow decorating instructions and customer designs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workspace.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Assist with stock rotation, stock takes and ingredient handling.
- Prepare orders for collection and assist customers during pickups.
- Contribute ideas to improve quality and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively to ensure orders are completed on time.
About You
- At least one year of cake decorating experience in a commercial bakery, cake studio or similar environment.
- A minimum of one year’s cake decorating experience in a commercial bakery or cake studio.
- Willingness to learn and accurately follow decorating instructions and established designs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
Availability
- Full-time preferred.
- Casual and part-time applicants are welcome. Applicants must be available to work on Thursdays and Fridays, with additional shifts available depending on availability and business needs.
