About the Role
Contract Resources (CR) is seeking experienced Offshore Industrial Services Technicians to support a major offshore facility campaign commencing in September 2026.
We are specifically seeking Technicians with demonstrated experience in Offshore Industrial Services, including High Pressure Water Jetting (HPW/UHP), Inert Entry operations, Catalyst handling, chemical cleaning, decontamination, and shutdown/project execution within offshore Oil & Gas environments.
Applicants must have prior Offshore Oil & Gas experience and a strong background in Industrial Services operations. We are seeking versatile offshore all-rounders who can work across multiple service lines and contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of offshore projects.
Offshore Readiness – Please Read Carefully
This is a Victoria-based role supporting Offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
While Victoria-based applicants will be highly regarded, applications from other Australian points of hire will be considered where candidates meet the mandatory offshore requirements and possess relevant Offshore Industrial Services experience.
Duties will include but not limited to
- High Pressure Water Jetting (HPW) & industrial cleaning activities
- Chemical cleaning, decontamination, and vessel cleaning operations
- Inert Entry and confined space support activities
- Catalyst handling and reactor support activities
- Manual labouring and deck support duties
- Hose handling, rigging assistance, and equipment preparation
- Vacuum Loading operations (where qualified)
- Supporting specialised operators, technicians, and project crews
- Working under Permit to Work systems and offshore safety management procedures
- Maintaining compliance with Work Health & Safety requirements including JSAs, SWMS, Take 5s and toolbox meetings
- Reporting hazards and contributing to a proactive safety culture
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Offshore Oil & Gas experience
- Proven Offshore Industrial Services experience, including HPW/UHP Water Jetting, Inert Entry, Catalyst Handling, Chemical Cleaning, Vacuum Loading or related services.
- Valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET)
- Valid Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS)
- Valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
- Working Safely at Heights (within 2 years)
- Enter & Work in Confined Spaces (within 2 years)
- Gas Test Atmospheres (within 2 years)
- Ability to pass an Offshore Pre-Employment Medical
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
Highly Desirable Experience & Tickets:
- High Pressure Water Jetting (HPW) Operator OR Assistant Tickets
- Ultra High Pressure (UHP) Water Jetting experience
- Inert Entry certification and experience
- Catalyst handling experience
- Vacuum Loading operations experience
- Breathing Apparatus certification
- Tank and vessel cleaning experience
- Chemical Cleaning experience
- Mechanical aptitude and shutdown maintenance experience
- Demonstrated experience as an offshore all-rounder across multiple Industrial Services scopes
