We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor City Parks Natural Areas to lead the delivery of natural area maintenance and conservation activities across the City.
About the role
Reporting to the Coordinator City Parks, you will lead a natural areas team responsible for maintaining bushland reserves and conservation assets. You will ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and within budget, while providing technical advice and supporting environmental programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising natural area maintenance programs.
- Managing team performance, safety and day-to-day operations.
- Providing technical support for conservation and environmental projects.
- Supporting budget planning and financial management.
- Building positive relationships with stakeholders and the community.
- Promoting a positive team culture and continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Diploma in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, or equivalent.
- Current unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence.
- Current White Card.
- Minimum five years' experience in natural areas or environmental management.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Sound financial and budget management skills.

- The salary for this role commences at step 1, with potential for movement within the range based on demonstrated skills and experience. Incremental progression typically occurs at the conclusion of each 12-month period, in accordance with the Industrial Agreement.
