Experienced Barista – Cove by Tay & Tay
We’re looking for an experienced, confident and friendly Barista to join our team at Cove by Tay & Tay in Cronulla.
This role is perfect for someone who loves coffee, enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating a great experience for every customer. We’re looking for someone who can be a positive role model within the team, lead by example and help maintain a fun, professional and efficient workplace.

- Strong barista experience in a busy café environment
- Confident producing consistently high-quality coffee
- Fast and efficient while maintaining quality during busy periods
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, approachable and genuinely good with people
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Able to work well under pressure
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Someone who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs doing
- Willing to support, guide and set a good example for junior and less experienced staff
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate respectfully with both front and back of house
- Keeps the coffee station and surrounding areas clean, organised and well stocked
- Available to work weekdays and weekends
About the role:
You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, providing excellent customer service, keeping the coffee section running smoothly and working closely with the rest of the team during busy service periods.
As an experienced member of the team, we also expect you to lead by example — maintaining a positive attitude, helping other staff when needed, keeping standards high and contributing to a supportive team culture.

Pay: $26.44 – $38.61 per hour
