We have contributed to a range of major construction and infrastructure projects, including government projects, commercial fit outs, and other large-scale developments.
We are currently expanding our team and are seeking a full-time Construction Estimator to join Cabral Icon Group. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their project requirements and prepare accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates that support successful project delivery. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve their project objectives by providing reliable estimating solutions and contributing to efficient project planning.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Review plans, specifications, and tender documentation to determine project requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare competitive tender submissions and pricing proposals within required deadlines.
- Analyse project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors throughout the estimating process.
- Assist with budgeting, procurement planning, and contract documentation.
- Monitor market trends, material costs, and labour rates to ensure estimates remain competitive.
- Ensure all estimates comply with company policies, industry standards, and relevant Australian building regulations.
Skills Required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or relevant field
Quick learner and effective problem solver
Ability to multitask, plan, and execute effectively
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while thriving in a collaborative team environment
Have excellent interpersonal skills

Salary - $ 85,000- $ 95,000
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
