Graduate Landscape Architect
DesignInc is an association of independent design practices with studios in Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, and
Sydney. Our Adelaide studio is growing its landscape architecture team as they deliver an exciting array of new projects.
Are you a highly motivated Graduate or recently Registered Landscape Architect looking to progress your career within a
collaborative, multi-disciplinary design studio? We provide a supportive and inclusive studio culture based on the values of

The Role
In this role you will:
‒ Contribute to the design and delivery of landscape architecture projects across all phases, from concept through to the
construction phase
‒ Assist in developing site-responsive design outcomes, including public realm, open space, and master planning projects
‒ Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and high-quality visual material for client and stakeholder engagement
‒ Produce design documentation packages, including plans, details, and schedules
‒ Assist in developing sustainable and resilient landscape solutions, including planting design and water-sensitive design
strategies
‒ Work collaboratively with architects, urban designers, and consultants within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
‒ Gain exposure to a diverse range of projects across sectors such as Education, Health, Defence, Community and
Recreation
Your Skills + Experience
‒ Approximately 2–5 years’ post-graduate professional experience, or recently registered/working towards registration (AILA
desirable)
‒ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
‒ Degree qualification in Landscape Architecture
‒ Proficiency using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and SketchUp. Revit proficiency and experience will be highly regarded
‒ Willingness to work as part of a large project team when required, and the ability to also work autonomously
‒ Effective time-management skills and ability to multitask
‒ A sound understanding of the NCC and relevant Australian Standards
