About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Oral Health Therapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and eager to expand their clinical skills. Working closely alongside our dentists, you will play a key role in supporting patient treatment while also having the opportunity to work independently when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care to support optimal oral health outcomes.
- Bond and remove orthodontic appliances, including labial and lingual braces, expanders, Herbst appliances, TAD-supported appliances, and fixed retainers.
- Provide orthodontic instructions and ongoing patient support throughout treatment.
- Assist dentists with a range of clinical procedures, including bracket placement, wire changes, orthodontic adjustments, and treatment progress monitoring.
- Capture digital records, including intraoral scans, CBCT imaging, and clinical photography.
- Deliver supportive patient care, helping to manage treatment-related concerns and enhance patient comfort.
- Work autonomously when the dentist is offsite, ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinical activities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Participate in continuing professional development and stay current with advances in dental care and technology.
- Foster a welcoming, positive, and patient-focused environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A recognised qualification as an Oral Health Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
- Current professional indemnity insurance.
- A valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in private dental practice.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team while following clinical protocols and instructions.
- Confidence and capability to work independently when required.
- Strong organisational skills, initiative, and a proactive approach to patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- A willingness to embrace new technologies and continue developing your professional skills.
