About the RoleYou’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking our range of toasted bagels, toasties and café menu items while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure every order is prepared quickly and presented beautifully.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, assemble, and cook bagels, toasties and other menu items.
- Ensure all food is prepared consistently to recipe and presentation standards.
- Assist with prep, including slicing, portioning, sauces, spreads, and garnishes.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe kitchen.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties.
- Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch services.
- Contribute ideas and maintain a positive team environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a café, sandwich bar, or fast-paced kitchen.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
- Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
- Food Safety Certificate (preferred but not essential).
