Gladstone Vet Clinic is a well-established and community-loved veterinary practice located in Sun Valley. Our clinic specialises in the care of small animals, with a touch of exotic pets such as birds and lizards. With a loyal client base and a reputation for quality care, we are a stable and welcoming practice seeking an experienced veterinarian with aspirations for greater responsibility that are rewarded and recognised.
The practice is spacious and well-equipped to deliver comprehensive care, including in-house blood testing, AI-assisted clinical note recording, radiography, ultrasound, and microscopy, with dental x-rays, IM3 dental equipment and IV drop pumps to be introduced soon. It also features two large consulting rooms, a dedicated surgical theatre, a sterilisation room, a large treatment area, and a hydro bath.

The Role:
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Full-Time Small Animal Veterinarian to join our team and continue providing exceptional, personalised care to our patients and their owners.
You will be involved in a mix of routine surgeries, medical cases and dental procedures. While we don’t currently perform orthopaedic procedures, there is scope for the right person to introduce and develop these skills if this is an area of interest.
This role offers an excellent work-life balance, with a flexible 9-day fortnight, clinic open hours are Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:30pm. There are no weekend commitments, after-hours, or on-call requirements, allowing you to enjoy your time outside of work while building a rewarding veterinary career.
Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor of Veterinary Science + current Veterinary Board Registration or eligibility for veterinary board registration in Australia

3+ years veterinary experience will be highly regarded

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Willingness to train and expand your skill levels

A cheerful personality and a passion for building strong client and team relationships.
