Darra State School is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Inclusion Teacher to join our school community and play a key role in supporting student engagement, participation and achievement across Prep-6.
This is an opportunity to work alongside dedicated classroom teachers, teacher aides, support staff and families to ensure every learner has the opportunity to succeed. Through co-planning, co-teaching and targeted intervention, you will help build teacher capability and strengthen inclusive practice across the school.
As our Inclusion Teacher, you will:
Collaborate with teachers through purposeful co-planning and co-teaching.
Support differentiation and the implementation of reasonable adjustments.
Use student data to identify needs and deliver targeted interventions.
Contribute to PLRs, ICPs, IBSPs and OneSchool adjustments.
Participate in Student Support Services meetings and case management.
Build strong partnerships with families, specialists, teachers and teacher aides.
Contribute to NCCD processes and whole-school inclusive planning.
We are looking for someone who is student-centred, collaborative and passionate about equitable outcomes. You will bring strong communication and relationship-building skills, an understanding of inclusive education and the ability to use data to inform purposeful support and intervention.
