The opportunity

Provide day-to-day administration and operational support for the Ultracs core banking system.

Execute and oversee BAU core banking processes including statement runs, interest rate updates, parameter changes and end-of-day or end-of-month processing.

Monitor system health, scheduled tasks and processing outcomes to maintain stable and reliable operations.

Investigate, resolve and escalate incidents, service requests and system issues in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.

Support hotfixes, patches, compliance updates and vendor-supplied enhancements.

Assist with reporting, data extracts and operational or regulatory information requests.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual effort and strengthen operational efficiency.
What we're looking for

Hands-on experience administering and supporting the Ultracs Core Banking System is essential.

Demonstrated experience in a similar banking systems, application support or core banking operations role.

Strong understanding of core banking BAU processing, operational controls and incident management.

Experience working with vendors to coordinate issue resolution, fixes and system enhancements.

Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to investigate issues and drive practical outcomes.

Experience supporting reporting, data extraction and operational business requests.

Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party providers.

Tertiary qualifications in information technology, business systems or a related discipline will be well regarded.
