About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, experienced and detail-oriented female NDIS Cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services to a client living with a disability at a private residence in Sunday Creek, VIC 3658.
The successful applicant will help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic home environment while respecting the client's privacy, dignity, preferences and independence.
Female applicant preferred due to the nature of the client’s support requirements.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and disinfecting surfaces.
-Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and other living areas as required.
-Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with company procedures.
-Follow personalised cleaning plans based on the client's needs and preferences.
-Respect client privacy, dignity and cultural values.
-Communicate clearly and professionally with the client, support workers and supervisors.
-Report any health and safety hazards, incidents or concerns.
-Maintain accurate records of services provided, including timesheets and service logs.
Requirements
-Previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning; NDIS experience preferred.
-Must bring your own cleaning equipment and supplies to each shift.
-Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and infection control.
-Current National Police Check.
-Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
-Working with Children Check.
-NDIS Worker Screening Check.
-Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Current ABN (Australian Business Number).
Desirable
-First Aid Certificate.
-Previous experience supporting people with disability.
-Understanding of NDIS and person-centred care principles.
