At Urban Utilities, our purpose is simple yet powerful - Enrich Quality of Life. With a $7 billion asset base and services spanning 1.5 million residents and more than 31,000 commercial customers across South East Queensland, we are committed to enhancing the liveability of our communities every day.
Your opportunity:
Reporting to the Leader - System Performance and Risk, the System Performance Specialist develops and applies analytical models, data pipelines, and digital products that form part of Urban Utilities' system performance and risk insight capability.
The role translates system performance and risk data into actionable intelligence for Integrated Planning, identifying emerging risks, system constraints, and optimisation opportunities across water and sewer networks. This enables proactive, risk-informed decisions relating to asset lifecycle, operations, and investment planning.
The Infrastructure Planning & Delivery Group contributes to Urban Utilities' purpose and vision and enhances the liveability of our communities through safeguarding financial and economic sustainability of the business, planning to meet the needs of our customers and management of the long-term water cycle and our environmental responsibilities.
About you:
You're a curious and analytical problem-solver who turns complex data into meaningful insights and builds the models and products that put them to work. You combine engineering judgement about how complex systems perform and fail with strong technical skills in data analytics, predictive modelling and visualisation. Collaborative by nature, you're comfortable working with stakeholders across technical and business teams to support risk-informed decision-making, improve system performance, and drive continuous improvement.
