Mental Health & High Intensity Support
East Maitland, Cessnock and Newcastle locations
We are looking for experienced, compassionate support workers to provide consistent, high-quality care to a woman in her 50s who lives independently at home. If you have a background in mental health and genuinely enjoy building trusting, long-term support relationships, we want to hear from you.
Strong mental health experience matters! This role requires more than physical care skills. Our client benefits most from workers who understand the connection between mental wellbeing and daily independence — people who can provide calm, trauma-informed support and foster a consistent, trusting environment. Experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, or complex psychosocial needs is an absolute must!
What the role involves

Morning shifts (3 hrs)

Evening shifts (3 hrs)

Inactive overnights
-
Medication assistance
-
Ceiling hoist transfers

Bowel and catheter care support

Personal care and daily living support
All clinical training is delivered by our RN-led team. You will never be expected to start before you feel confident and prepared.
What we are looking for

Demonstrated experience supporting people with mental health needs

Reliability and commitment to consistent, long-term care relationships

Calm, respectful, and person-centred approach

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Current First Aid Certificate

Driver licence, own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Casual role to commence, all high intensity shifts paid from $43.23 per hour.
