About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing & Distribution Senior Analyst to join our Operations Finance team on a 12-month max-term contract.
Based at our Enfield head office and taking ownership of our Ballarat (VIC) and Northam (WA) flour mills, this role reports to the National Manufacturing & Distribution Finance BP.
This roe involves high-quality financial analysis, insight, and reporting across manufacturing, logistics, and distribution functions. You will ensure robust financial compliance, governance, control, and accountability while enabling data-driven decision-making that improves operational and cost-to-serve efficiency.
This position plays a key role in:
- Providing proactive financial support for mill operations, warehousing, freight, and distribution network activities.
- Leading analytical work for site continuous improvement initiatives, working capital optimisation, and capital expenditure projects.
- Driving scenario modelling, cost-to-serve analysis, and performance tracking to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support strategic initiatives.
- Overseeing governance processes for inventory management, including leading and validating stock take activities, ensuring accuracy of reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Interstate travel is required (approx. monthly) to visit VIC and WA sites.
About You
You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working close to operations, investigating and influencing outcomes.
The suitable candidate will possess:
- CPA or CA qualifications (or working towards)
- 3-5+ years' experience in an operations finance role, within FMCG / food manufacturing
- A strong understanding of inventory is important, and distribution/warehousing exposure is preferrable
- Advanced Excel experience - Power Query is preferrable
- Experience with month-end close, forecasting and budgeting
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
