As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate Inclusion Support Educator to join our dedicated team at our Shellharbour centre, NSW.
About the Role
As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will play an important role in supporting children’s individual learning journeys and contributing to an inclusive educational environment where every child has the opportunity to participate, develop confidence and achieve their potential.
Working alongside our passionate educators, leadership team, families and support professionals, you will help create meaningful experiences that recognise each child’s unique strengths, interests and abilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through inclusive and intentional practices.
- Working collaboratively with educators to create learning experiences that support each child’s individual needs and strengths.
- Building strong, respectful and trusting relationships with children, families and team members.
- Supporting observations, documentation and reflective practices that contribute to children’s learning outcomes.
- Creating nurturing and engaging learning environments aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Contributing to a culture of professionalism, collaboration and continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator who believes every child deserves the opportunity to be recognised, respected and supported to reach their full potential.
You will have:
- A completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification).
- Current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs or a strong passion for inclusive education.
- The ability to create trusting relationships that support children’s sense of belonging, confidence and active participation.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality education and care that supports children’s individual learning journeys.
- A genuine passion for creating inclusive learning environments where every child feels respected, valued and empowered to thrive.
