We are seeking to engage a large number of hard working and talented Advanced and a small number of Intermediate Scaffolders for a start early July, running through to November end/early December as a guide.
There is a requirement for three (3) experienced Supervisors to manage the workload and performance of up to 3 crews at a time and ensure daily work scopes are completed on-time.
Applicants MUST demonstrate previous LNG experience in either On/Off Shore Gas Plant Construction and/or Maintenance operations, with a strong understanding of safe working principles & techniques in Major Hazard Facilities.
To be considered for these roles, applicants must possess the following tickets, licenses and qualifications and ALL must be current and up to date:
- SA/SI High Risk Work Licence - MANDATORY
- WP High Risk Work Licence - Advantageous
- RA/RI - Advantageous
- Dogging Licence - Beneficial
- White Card - Mandatory
- Working at Heights - Mandatory
- Confined Space & Hazardous Atmospheres - Mandatory
- Fire Fighting & CPR - Mandatory
- Manitou/Forklift - Highly Regarded
- MSIC Card - Highly Regarded
Advanced Scaffolders will be paid $54:65/HR for ordinary hours + 12% Superannuation, $81:98 for time plus half and $109:30 for double time, plus Hourly Site Allowance of $5:40. There is daily travel allowance of $25, Weekly PIP of $175 and severance pay. Typical weekly gross pay is $7,428 and after tax is $4,587. Intermediate scaffolders are paid slightly less and supervisory staff higher in accordance with the site EA.
All applicants shortlisted and approved for onboarding, will be required to undergo a Category 3 medical which includes X-rays, ECG, Blood tests, Physical stress test and D&A Screening. Applicants must be eligible to obtain MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card), which includes Federal Police Background checks.
