About the Role
This position focuses on providing high-quality domestic assistance and everyday support to aged care clients, veterans and individuals living with a disability.
- Job Type: Casual
- Hours: Shifts fall between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday (ideal for school hours or flexible work-life balance)
- Location: Local community and client homes
Key Responsibilities
- Domestic Assistance: Light household cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up.
- Community & Social Support: Assisting clients with grocery shopping, running errands, and attending appointments.
- Individual Support: Encouraging client independence, providing companionship, and assisting with daily routine tasks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain before starting)
- Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening Clearance)
- Reliable personal vehicle with a valid driver’s license and comprehensive insurance
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and a punctual, trustworthy work ethic
