Order Preparation & Packing – Coopers Plains Warehouse (Tuesday to Friday, 20–30 hrs/week)
We are a growing small business, specialised in gourmet food like cheese and French small goods (saucisson , pâtés, rillettes, foie gras) but also some sweets (macarons, caneles, beignets).
We’re looking for someone highly autonomous, reliable, and able to work efficiently without supervision. This role suits someone who enjoys hands‑on work, follows instructions accurately, and pays close attention to detail.
What the job involves:
- Preparing online and wholesale orders
- Packing products with accuracy and care
- Receiving and sorting stock
- Booking Freight
- Handling light order deliveries using our company van
What you need to succeed:
- Able to work independently and stay productive without supervision
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Good problem‑solving skills when unexpected issues arise
- Punctual, honest, and dependable
- Comfortable handling food products (cheese, charcuterie, pâtés, sweets)
- Driver’s licence (you’ll use the company van)
- Good customer service skills!
- Your own transport to get to Coopers Plains
- French language skills or knowledge of cheese and charcuterie are a plus but not required (full training provided)
About the role:
- Tuesday to Friday, 20–30 hours per week
- Immediate start
- Salary under the General Retail Industry Award. [MA000004]
