The role:
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Legal and Compliance Administrator to join our Legal & Compliance team.
In this role, you will provide administrative, coordination and research support across compliance, governance, quality, occupational health and safety, and legal administration. You'll help maintain key registers and records, coordinate reporting and meetings, support audit readiness activities, and prepare routine legal and compliance documentation.
This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across a broad range of legal, compliance and governance activities while contributing to an organisation that makes a real difference in the lives of people with disability.
Graduate lawyers are encouraged to apply, with supervised legal practice available for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to prepare professional documents, summaries and correspondence
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and summarise complex information
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
- Experience maintaining records, registers, documentation or reporting systems
- A demonstrated interest in legal, governance, compliance, risk or regulatory environments
- Qualifications in law, compliance, governance, public policy or a related discipline (desirable)

- NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
