The Role
Due to continued expansion of work, Ventia are seeking Maintenance Electricians to assist in handling the planned and reactive maintenance for all Main Roads WA’s electrical assets across metro and regional WA. This will be including assets such as street lighting, traffic signals, speed limit signs and more.
These full-time opportunities are based in Jandakot, WA, offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexibility on start and finish times to suit your requirements.
The pay rate for these positions is $43.59 to $46.08 per hour (based on experience) + penalties and allowances.
Although our workshop is based at Jandakot, the successful candidate will, when possible, be provided with assignments within proximity to their home location.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
-
Perform routine maintenance & maintenance repairs on all Electrical assets across Main Roads Western Australia’s infrastructure

Routine checks & inspections on all electrical assets
-
Fault finding & diagnosing root cause analysis
-
Reactive maintenance & emergency response to electrical assets on the road networks

Participate in a nightshift rotation as part of the team delivering planned works
Requirements:
-
Trade Certificate – Cert III Electrotechnology Electrician
-
WA Electrical Licence – Grade A
-
Driver’s Licence – C Class minimum, MR or above highly regarded
-
White Card / Construction Induction
-
Experience in associated electrical/electronic/instrumentation & communication works associated with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) – Desirable

EWP and Open Cablers Licence - Desirable
