WHAT THIS ROLE IS FOR
You design, build, and ship the software that families rely on every day. You turn customer problems into reliable, secure, well-tested solutions, working end-to-end across the stack while growing your craft and your impact within the engineering team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Build & Ship
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing software.
- Work across .NET and Python, staying language-agnostic and keen to learn new tools.
- Balance rapid delivery with long-term quality, stability, scalability, and security.
- Develop, test, and deploy using CI/CD, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
Quality & Reliability
- Review and improve existing systems, keeping them aligned with technical standards.
- Partner with QA to plan, execute, and validate automated testing and quality control.
- Use observability tools such as Datadog and Azure app Insight to monitor performance and diagnose issues.
Collaborate
- Partner with the Head of Engineering, Tech Leads, Product, Design, and Analytics to shape solutions.
- Contribute to agile rituals like sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Communicate openly and clearly to keep the team aligned and delivering.
Improve
- Apply modern engineering practices, automation, and continuous delivery day to day.
- Spot opportunities for efficiency and improvement within the team.
- Share knowledge with peers and stay curious about emerging technologies.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 2 to 4+ years’ experience in software engineering.
- Experience with one or more of: .NET, Python, or Java.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Exposure to microservices architecture and API development.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Splunk.
- Experience with TDD and automated testing.
- Interest in building B2C or consumer-facing products.
