As a Senior Electronics Engineer specialising in the realisation of new product development, you will be responsible for architecting, designing and realising products in the medical, consumer and industrial sectors. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to realise new and novel products. Leading and managing end to end execution of new- to- world development programme orchestrating the interdependent fields of electronics, mechanical and industrial design. Please note experience managing medical projects and ensuring compliance with ISO13485 QMS is highly desirable for this role.
You will play a key role in:
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team

- Experience with product development workflows, such as waterfall, agile or other, to meet product goals
- Experience in the design of electronics PCBAs and hardware (digital, analog, high speed, RF, power, motor control etc)
- Experience in the full lifecycle of electronics development, such as concept architecture, implementation, planning and execution of compliance activities (e.g. EMC and electrical safety) and transfer to production
- Proficiency with Altium Designer
- Experience in the Design for Test, Manufacture, Assembly etc
- Project & product risk assessment including de-risking process management
- A focus on delivery of products to market
- Experience integrating hardware and software
- Compliance with internal processes
- Experience with detailed compliance activities associated with safety standards such as IEC 60601, IEC 62368, IEC 61010 etc
- Experience in a consulting environment
- Ability to articulate and control how electronics development affects broader project constraints to clients and external stakeholders
- In depth knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in a range of electronics sub-disciplines (digital, analog, high speed, RF, power, motor control etc)
- Detailed experience in the integration of embedded firmware and software in hardware (such as STM32, nRF, iMX series of processors)
- Follow company standard documentation and procedures including ISO13485:2016
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
