We are seeking a Fundraising Administratorto support the delivery of integrated fundraising programs and supporter engagement activities that grow income and expand AV's supporter base. This role sits within the Partnership Department and will support the efficient delivery of fundraising programs including Individual Giving, Community Fundraising, Philanthropy and Gifts in Wills.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster HQ in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Community Fundraising, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
- Perform all administrative functions within the fundraising database, including accurate data entry and ongoing maintenance of supporter, prospect, and contact records, while ensuring reporting integrity and compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies
- Support multi-channel fundraising campaigns, ensuring effective supporter journeys that drive revenue and growth
- Manage accurate end-to-end donation processing, financial reconciliation, and procurement activities, including purchase orders and expense tracking
- Deliver engaging supporter experiences through events, stewardship activities, and high-quality communications that build loyalty and demonstrate impact
- Maintain and optimise fundraising systems and databases, ensuring data integrity, compliance, reporting capability, and continuous improvement of digital platforms
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to performance reporting, insights, and innovation to enhance fundraising outcomes and support organisational goals
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- Completion of a relevant industry certification with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training, knowledge and relevant experience in a related discipline (fundraising, community engagement, public relations, marketing or communication (desirable))
- Proven experience in an administration and/or fundraising role, with strong capability to manage complex tasks and processes
- Experience using donor management systems (ideally Raiser's Edge) and handling donation processing and reconciliation activities
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with supporters, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and administrative skills, with high attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional supporter care
- Demonstrated digital proficiency, including Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and fundraising platforms
- Self-motivated and collaborative team player, with sound judgement, a proactive attitude, and flexibility to support key events outside standard hours
