Croker Construction WA is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our growing civil construction team working on road construction, subdivision and infrastructure projects throughout Western Australia.
About the Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for operating graders and associated plant to deliver road construction and earthworks activities safely, efficiently and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Final trim grading and road construction works
- Boxing out roads and preparing pavement foundations
- Cutting drains, verges and batters
- Mixing and spreading road base, gravel and limestone materials
- Reading construction plans and survey information
- Maintaining grading tolerances and quality standards
- Operating rollers, water carts and compactors as required
- Conducting daily plant inspections and basic maintenance
- Supporting and mentoring site crew members
- Adhering to all safety, environmental and quality requirements
About You
- Minimum 1 year civil construction experience
- Demonstrated grader operating experience
- Ability to read plans and work to survey levels
- Strong understanding of road construction and earthworks
- Current White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Grader competency/ticket
Desirable
- HR Licence
- Loader, Excavator, Scraper, Roller or Water Cart tickets
- First Aid Certificate
- Basic Survey Training
