Chester Hill North Public School enrolment approximately 420 students, including 87% from a language background other than English is a diverse and inclusive school with a strong sense of community. A dedicated staff, comprising early career and experienced teachers, works collaboratively with students, families and the wider community to strengthen student wellbeing, engagement and academic outcomes. The school has a strong focus on evidence-informed teaching, differentiated learning and building teacher and leadership capability to improve outcomes for all students. Our established partnership with Real Schools supports a consistent, restorative approach to student wellbeing, behaviour and relationships across the school.Chester Hill North Public School is situated on a large, attractive site with upgraded learning spaces, a staff centre, outdoor learning areas and an established Community Hub that strengthens connections between families, the school and community services. The school currently has 20 classes, including 17 mainstream classes and three Autism Support classes within our Inclusive Education Unit. The school is also a base for an Itinerant Hearing Unit.

5. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning
6. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policy and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people

The Crown Employees (Teachers in Schools and Related Employees) Salaries and Conditions Award 2020 details the new principal classification structure based on complexity of schools which commenced in 2016. The classification and remuneration of our school principals is based on school complexity, as measured through each school’s RAM allocation. As part of the ongoing application of the new structure a review of thresholds and outcomes will occur on an annual basis. The principal classification for this school is Principal Level P3 for 2026.
