Roadworthy Inspector - Mechanic

Fast Track Roadworthys is expanding and we are looking for a reliable Roadworthy Inspector to help manage our high volume of safety inspections in the Gold Coast Region. The Role
We need someone on a casual basis to conduct mobile safety & pre purchase inspections. You will travel to locations to inspect light vehicles, complete digital paperwork, and clear defects. Experience inspecting trailers and motorbikes is a plus.
- Employment Type: Casual
- Hours: 30–40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with optional Saturday work if desired.

What You Will Do
- Conduct thorough mobile light vehicle safety inspections at customers locations.
- Inspect trailers and motorbikes (if qualified).
- Complete accurate inspection reports via ICO digital app.
- Communicate clearly with customers and the office team and explain vehicle faults.
- Occasional light Mechanical work on the company cars.
Experience & Requirements
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (Australian certification)
- Current Approved Examiner license (or willing to obtain) we can help you through the process.
- Must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
- Current, valid open Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- No criminal history (background check required).
- Trailer and motorbike inspection licenses (highly regarded).
- Strong eye for detail and safety standards.
- Reliable turning up on time for your rostered shifts.
