Hayfields Racing (Trainer: Charlotte Littlefield) is seeking a high-calibre individual to join our boutique, results-driven stable based on course at Pakenham, Victoria (1 hr from Melbourne City Centre).
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced racing environment and takes pride in producing fit, happy, and competitive horses. Plenty of opportunity for progression for the right person.
The Role:
- You will work closely with Charlotte and oversee daily stable operations, including:
- Supervising staff and delegating workloads
- Overseeing horse care, fitness, and presentation
- Saddling and raceday support/attendence
- Monitoring horse health and reporting any issues promptly
- Maintaining high standards across the stable
- 6-mornings per week with 3 afternoons
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a senior stable role
- Strong horse handling and organisational skills
- Natural leadership with the ability to motivate a team
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
- Full driving licence required
Accommodation offsite & car available.
Salary: $80k-$90k dependent on experience.
