The Opportunity
This is a rare, ground-floor fee share opportunity role for a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent who wants more than a seat at someone else's table. You'll bring your own expertise, judgement and client relationships, and combine them with a premium brand, an enterprise-grade technology stack, and full administrative and back-office support — while retaining genuine autonomy over how you work and who you work with.
This isn't a conventional salaried employed role, and it isn't solo practice either — it's something built deliberately to give an exceptional practitioner the best of both: the backing of a serious firm, without losing the independence that made you good at this in the first place. And for the right person, it comes with a genuine, structured pathway to equity partnership as the firm scales — not a vague promise, a real conversation from day one about what that looks like and when.
What You'll Bring
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and current Tax Practitioners Board Registered Tax Agent status are a pre-requisite.
- Substantial experience in a Public Practice across accounting and taxation — technically excellent, commercially sharp, comfortable advising founders and business owners directly.
- A track record and professional network you're proud of — existing client relationships and referral connections are a genuine asset here, not a formality.
- High ambition and a builder's mindset — you want to shape something, not administer it. You're looking for career progression that isn't capped by someone else's org chart.
- Australian citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted Visa employment rights in Australia.
