We are currently seeking a motivated Full-time Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic and professional Sales & Marketing team! The ideal candidate will be from a sales background.
About Us:
The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, Executive Lounge and 12 meeting spaces collectively totalling 1800m2. Located at the Brisbane Airport Domestic Terminal, it is the first accommodation, meeting and event space to be developed in this precinct.
Key Responsibilities
Product Knowledge & Client Support
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel rates, packages, and operational details to confidently conduct site inspections and represent the hotel to clients.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Product Knowledge Master Manual for the Sales & Marketing department.
Sales Support & Telemarketing
- Assist with telemarketing activities aimed at identifying new business opportunities and assessing client potential.
- Support the planning and scheduling of sales calls for the Director of Sales & Marketing and Sales Manager.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare a weekly report for the Director of Sales & Marketing summarising telemarketing outcomes and lead activity.
- Maintain the Sales & Marketing database to ensure accuracy and relevance of client information.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly Sales Reports using the hotel’s sales and catering system.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 12 months plus experience in a sales/ business development role either within hotels, travel agency or in similar industries, OR equivalent experience working in a leadership position within hotel, tourism or travel sectors
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Highly organised and efficient, with excellent time management skills
- High standard of personal presentation
- Experience with hotel reservations systems is preferred, but not required.
- Microsoft Office and general computer literacy is essential.
- Understanding of distribution channels, GDS, OTA, government sectors and direct highly regarded.
