Payroll Administrator - Corporate Shared Services
Ongoing Casual Part Time - 3 Days Per Week
UGL is a leading engineering, construction and maintenance company with operations across a diverse range of industries to include power, renewables, energy, resources and rail. Our Corporate Finance team provides shared services that support the efficient processing of timesheets for our projects.
This is an ongoing casual opportunity based in Perth, working 3 days per week with flexibility around how those days are structured (longer or shorter days). You’ll be joining a team of 5 and supporting day-to-day payroll admin activities.

About the role
You’ll be supporting the payroll team with the day-to-day processing and coordination of payroll activities, making sure timesheets are submitted, reviewed and processed accurately. This includes uploading and checking timesheets, reviewing payslips, and ensuring employees are paid correctly before payroll is signed off. You’ll also be responding to payroll-related queries and helping resolve any discrepancies that come up. You’ll be working across a number of systems and tools, so being comfortable picking up new software and processes is important. It’s a hands-on role where attention to detail really matters.
Key responsibilities
Review and upload timesheets.
Check payslips and support processing activities prior to sign-off.
Respond to payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Work across multiple systems to support payroll operations and meet payroll deadlines.
About you
Experience in a similar role.
Comfortable using Excel (timesheets, data checking, basic formulas) with high attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
Confident communicator, able to manage payroll queries and work both independently and as part of a team.
