Help shape the future of maintenance across two major manufacturing sites.
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Exteriors business, supporting both our PGH Bricks Cecil Park and AFS Minto manufacturing sites. This newly created regional role is a fantastic opportunity to move two established plants from reactive maintenance to a proactive, reliability-focused approach that improves safety, productivity and equipment performance.
Working closely with the Regional Maintenance Manager and site leadership teams, you'll play a critical role in planning, coordinating and optimising maintenance activities across both operations.

The Opportunity
This is a site-based role split across Cecil Park and Minto, providing approximately 50/50 support to each facility.
You'll be responsible for developing preventive, predictive and shutdown maintenance plans that maximise equipment reliability while ensuring maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to production.
You'll also strengthen planning capability across both sites by improving work order quality, maintenance documentation, scheduling effectiveness and compliance with statutory maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate weekly, preventative, predictive and shutdown maintenance plans.
- Create, manage and prioritise maintenance work orders within SAP.
- Plan labour, contractors, materials, tooling and critical spare parts to support maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate asset registers, maintenance strategies and equipment master data.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Production, Engineering and Procurement teams to align maintenance schedules with operational priorities.
- Monitor equipment performance, analyse maintenance trends and identify opportunities to improve reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase schedule compliance, reduce downtime and improve maintenance efficiency.
- Ensure maintenance planning activities meet safety, environmental and statutory compliance requirements.
- Produce accurate maintenance documentation, reporting and KPI analysis.
About You
You'll be an organised, proactive planner who thrives in a busy manufacturing environment. You're comfortable managing competing priorities, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and maintaining a high level of accuracy while working at pace.
You'll also bring:
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner role within manufacturing, heavy industry or industrial processing.
- Strong SAP maintenance planning experience (essential).
- A solid understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance planning principles.
- Experience planning shutdowns, work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret maintenance KPIs and equipment performance data.
- Excellent organisational, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical, or a relevant engineering qualification (preferred).
- Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM), reliability improvement or capital projects will be highly regarded.
