We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join the management team on a permanent full-time basis on our Orthopaedic Ward! This opportunity is ideal for a nurse ready to step into a key leadership role and grow, lead and inspire a dedicated team.
About the role:
Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you will support clinical leadership, patient flow, staff development, and the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care, while also assisting with the management of staffing and equipment resources.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team within the Orthopaedic Ward.

Assist the Nurse Unit Manager with the effective day-to-day management and coordination of the ward.

Promote safe, high-quality and evidence-based nursing care.

Support the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.

Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, students and new team members.
About You:
Your Skills and Experience

Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Minimum five (5) years’ experience working in an acute setting
-
Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
-
Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development
This role offers a base hourly rate of $57.44 - $59.33 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*VIC ANUM/AMUM Levels 1-2*)
