Brisbane Biodentistry is a family-owned dental practice that has been proudly serving our local community and patients from further afield for over 30 years.

We currently have an opportunity for a casual Dental Assistant, with a view to a long-term position, to join our wonderful work family.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an opportunity for someone who is genuinely interested in building a career in dental assisting and is eager to learn, develop their skills and grow with our team.
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, however, we are happy to train the right candidate on the job. For us, a positive attitude, reliability, willingness to learn and a genuine desire to grow and develop within the team are equally important.
ABOUT YOU & REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working as a dental assistant (preferred but not essential)
- Be a good communicator and have a good rapport with patients
- Be well presented and have exceptional phone and face-to-face communication skills
- Have good sport and take pride and ownership in your contribution as a dedicated team member and looking for long-term position to grow within the practice
- Have a collected, positive and calm approach.
- Be reliable, proactive and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment to ensure smooth running of the clinic
- Have good knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and an understanding of infection control protocols
- Be proficient in using dental software and tools
- Have initiative and the willingness to learn and acquire new skills
- Has some flexibility with availability across our working days (no weekend work is required)
