As an Air Conditioning Apprentice, you’ll assist qualified technicians with the inspection, cleaning, and servicing of air conditioning and ventilation systems. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience across the electrical and mechanical components of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems while completing a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
You’ll learn how to:
Service and maintain air conditioning and ventilation systems.
Perform routine checks, clean coils, and replace filters to improve efficiency.
Diagnose faults in mechanical, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
Assist with breakdowns, repairs, and installations across commercial sites.
Work with senior technicians and mechanical engineers to ensure systems run safely and efficiently.
Understand energy efficiency and preventative maintenance best practices.
Follow all WHS and ARCtick regulatory requirements.
