This is an entry-level Bid Manager role to the Tenders & Projects team in Sydney created to support the team's extended responsibilities in managing an increased demand from the market.
The position will directly contribute to preparing tenders for complex Grid Technology solutions, specifically within the FACTS and Storage business.
To address this need, the role will focus on two primary areas: Bid Process Support & Coordination and Tender Documentation & Administration.
This position is designed for a professional at the start of their career who will operate under direct guidance to manage non-complex tasks.
How You’ll Make an Impact
60% Bid Process Support & Coordination
- Assist senior bid managers in tracking tender milestones, deadlines, and requirements using designated systems.
- Support the coordination of inputs from various internal departments such as engineering, legal, and finance by following established procedures.
- Help organize bid review meetings, including the preparation of materials and taking of meeting minutes under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of all bid-related communications, activities, and stakeholder information within the CRM system.
40% Tender Documentation & Administration
- Assist in compiling, formatting, and proofreading tender documents to ensure they align with customer requirements and company standards.
- Manage and retrieve standard content from the bid library, ensuring correct usage of templates and boilerplate text.
- Support the final submission process by preparing documents for digital upload or physical dispatch as instructed.
- Gather and organize basic data and standard company information for inclusion in proposals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a commercial support, sales administration, or project coordination role, preferably within a technical or engineering-focused industry.
- Full working rights in Australia and standard driving licence for cars
