Clerk Grade 7/8: $116,981 to $129,492 per annum, plus superannuation, plus leave loading

We do this by providing a range of customer-centred services, including Will-making, trustee, financial management and guardianship services, including some for the state’s most vulnerable people.

About the team
Financial Performance and Investments comprise teams supporting the financial and investment needs of our clients as well as maintaining, enhancing, and protecting their assets. These services cover the management of properties, shares, investments, and other personal assets; the processing of customer and third-party payments and receipts; the handling of a range of taxation matters; developing financial plans and budgets to support our customers; and providing corporate frameworks, tools and services for Procurement, Project Management Governance, and Budgeting and Reporting to the organisation
About the role
As the Principal Finance Officer - Investment Administration, you will be responsible for the administration of NSW Trustee and Guardian’s Common Fund investments, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. You will oversee investment administration activities including investment trades, settlements, term deposits, unit pricing, reporting and stakeholder management, while working closely with financial institutions, external service providers and internal stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality investment services.

About you
You are an experienced finance or investment administration professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working collaboratively, and are committed to delivering accurate, customer-focused outcomes.
Experience in investment administration and managing complex financial transactions.
Strong understanding of investment products, financial controls and compliance requirements.
Ability to analyse information, identify issues and deliver practical solutions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience supervising staff or coordinating work to achieve quality outcomes and service standards.

Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in a relevant discipline or industry, such as accounting and finance.
