We are seeking Music Tutors to deliver quality music education. Music Tutors in the report to the CEO and work with other tutors, administration staff, the Partnerships Manager and the Operations Manager. Murray Conservatorium is committed to the safety of all individuals we serve, including children and vulnerable persons.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop materials and deliver individual lessons, group lessons, ensembles, workshops, concerts and regular music education programs to a broad community demographic
- Deliver to a diverse range of students of all ages including those with disabilities and/or behavioural differences. Deliver to indigenous students and those from a culturally and linguistically diverse background
- Participate in professional learning including mandatory annual child protection training
- Assist organisation of student events
Requirements:
- Music/Education degree with minimum one year of teaching experience or minimum 2 years’ full time relevant experience
- Proven experience in similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work individually and within a team
- Working with Children Checks and mandatory annual child and vulnerable persons protection training
- Availability to work evenings and occasional weekends
