About this role
Your key responsibilities:
Provide advanced expertise in the application of evidence, theory, and judgement in planning, implementing, and evaluating statewide projects within settings including the health system in partnership with stakeholders.
Lead collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders and partners, to build capacity and improve the delivery of projects.
Demonstrate competencies and qualities of a successful supervisor and leader in managing change, building team capacity and capability, improving performance, and enhancing the quality of the work environment.

Proven ability to apply high-level of knowledge, expertise and skills to the development and implementation of effective solutions to complex state-wide preventive health challenges.
Demonstrated ability to apply high-level and effective communication, consultation, negotiation and problem-solving skills in response to diverse internal and external stakeholder expectations in a dynamic environment.
Highly motivated with a demonstrated flexibility in approach to work and the working environment and willingness to participate in initiatives to address priority issues as required by management.
Ability to successfully lead and manage a small team, guide tasks, motivate and inspire staff and promote an environment where staff are valued, developed and coached to perform to their full potential.
