Reeds Prospecting is looking for a team member with experience in Gold Prospecting and Metal Detecting. The role has flexible hours, and is based in our Midvale store.
The Team Member will assist in Sales, Hires and Training so will require the following existing Skills and Experience:
- Experience and/or knowledge in Gold Prospecting and Metal Detecting activities is Essential
- Demonstrated use of Retail POS / EFTPOS systems and cash handling is preferred
The Team Member will be required to:
- Engage with customers on Gold Prospecting and Metal Detecting enquiries
- Provide product knowledge and demonstration to customers on equipment to service their outdoors lifestyle, eg. Metal Detectors, GPS and PLBs, Gold Processing Equipment
- Process Sales and Hire of Metal Detectors and Equipment
- Maintain and service the detector hire fleet
- Attend Expo's, Show's and Events to actively promote Reeds Prospecting, the industry and lifestyle of gold prospecting and metal detecting
- Must be available to work on Weekdays and Saturdays when rostered on.
