We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Migration Engineer to lead and support a large-scale enterprise firewall migration project. This is an exciting opportunity to join a complex transformation program involving the migration from Check Point to Cisco Secure Firewall across a multi-site environment.
The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience delivering similar network security and firewall migration initiatives within large enterprise organisations and will act as a key technical authority throughout the implementation and migration lifecycle.
- Strong experience with Cisco Networking, Cisco Secure Firewall, and Firepower Management Centre (FMC)
- Proven expertise in Check Point Firewalls and SmartConsole
- Experience designing and supporting multi-site network security architectures
- Demonstrated capability to act as an implementation and migration authority on large-scale security transformation projects
- Strong firewall policy management skills, including:
- Rule consolidation
- Rule reviews
- Policy optimisation and rationalisation
- Hands-on, end-to-end experience delivering Check Point to Cisco Secure Firewall migrations
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and critical infrastructure
- Previous experience leading or delivering enterprise-scale firewall migration programs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure and security teams
