The Digital Services Support Specialist supports the delivery and continuous improvement of Digital Services at QAS by combining hands-on technical support with proactive environment management and contribution to key Digital Services projects.
The role plays a key part in improving day-to-day service quality, maintaining reliable and well-functioning digital environments, and supporting the identification and documentation of future Digital Services requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with technical analysis, documentation and identification of current service and technology gaps and opportunities for more efficient and fit-for-purpose digital service.
Development of Support procedures and knowledge articles and contribute to improving consistency, standardisation, and accessibility of digital services documentation.
Proactively manage and maintain digital environments to ensure readiness and reliability by regular checks of meeting room technology, collaboration spaces and shared and common-used technology.
Maintain an accurate register of digital assets, including information, hardware, software, and equipment
Coordinate asset lifecycle activities including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal
Support the administration and maintenance of end-user technology environments, including desktop management systems
Provide high-quality technical support and incident management services, ensuring timely resolution and a positive user experience
There are no mandatory qualifications for this role, qualifications in the following fields will be favourably regarded.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or IT Service Management (ITSM)
