BlueMountains Phones is looking for a reliable, friendly and motivated team member to join our busy mobile phone and repair shop in Winmalee.
This is a varied role involving customer service, retail sales and mobile device repairs. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and technology and takes pride in providing excellent service.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional customer service
- Assisting customers with mobile phones, tablets, accessories and related products
- Selling mobile phones, accessories and services
- Diagnosing and performing basic to intermediate repairs on mobile phones and tablets
- Screen, battery and other component replacements
- Testing devices before and after repairs
- Setting up and troubleshooting mobile phones and tablets
- Processing sales, repairs and customer enquiries
- Keeping the store clean, organised and professionally presented
- Working closely with other team members to provide a positive customer experience
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and approachable
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Comfortable working with mobile phones, tablets and technology
- Able to learn new products, systems and repair techniques
- Practical and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently as well as part of a small team
- Previous retail, sales, customer service or mobile repair experience is preferred
- Must be available to work during weekdays
- Weekend availability would be an advantage
